The Process Engineer drives the implementation of Continuous Improvement by developing and leading projects aimed at reducing overall production costs, optimizing production processes, and improving product quality.
- Optimize existing processes and assist in the development of new processes to lower cost and improve quality.
- Provide technical support to Operations by troubleshooting quality and operational problems.
- Investigate problems within existing systems utilizing analytical abilities and implementing recommendations for improvement.
- Learn and utilize continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.Lean Six Sigma) to lead projects with excellence as well as holding supporting roles in others’ projects.
- Assists project engineers and managers in the planning, development, and implementation of capital projects.
- Utilizes a proactive approach and project skills to develop solutions to short- and long-term issues.
- Leads troubleshooting efforts of systems and processes.
