Careers

The WPPF provides career placement assistance to students and actively supports industry participation in developing internships for students. We work with faculty members to ensure that longer internships do not require longer time to graduation.

Scholarships

Students entering the UW for the first time, e.g. freshmen and community college transfers, are also eligible to apply for a $10,000 award for their first year of study. The scholarships are renewable year-to year subject to academic performance.

Bioresource Science & Engineering Major

The bioresource science and engineering (BSE) degree is for students seeking training in chemical and physical sciences and chemical engineering as applied to manufacturing fiber products, fuels and chemicals from biomass resources. It emphasizes the application of mathematics, chemistry and engineering to paper and bioresources-based industries.
